Warner Bros. Studios in the 1928-1930s era

After the success of The Jazz Singer (1927), Warner Bros. purchased a majority stake and moved productions to the Burbank lot.
By 1937, Warner Bros. had fully consolidated operations in Burbank, and during this period, the studio built major stages — including Stage 16, raised to 98 feet and equipped with a two‑million‑gallon water tank, making it one of the world’s largest and most famous sound stages.
